Evangelism
God's Work Foundation is passionate about seeing lives transformed by the loving presence of the Father. Unfortunately, we face many challenges in achieving this mission.
We depend so much on the Holy Spirit to encounter the lives of the people. There have been many instances where we have planted a new church in a village and were not able to return for a visit for numerous months due to the harsh conditions and challenging circumstances. When we were able to revisit the church, we found a flourishing Spirit-filled church! God's church.
We are honoured to be able to partner with the Holy Spirit in reaching new believers, planting God's church, and pouring into the lives of new disciples in numerous ways.
- Villages are quite dispersed and very difficult to reach, especially during the rainy season when entire villages are relocated because of flooding.
- Many people who are new to the Christian faith are illiterate.
- Often, villages are disrupted when the men leave to find work in neighbouring countries.

PREACH IT Workshops
We focus on improving the delivery of God's Word in our branch churches. We created a special workshop to lead our lay pastors through sermon preparation including good hermeneutics along with contextual expository. This is a nine day intensive workshop that culminates in the participants preaching a high quality message that they have themselves prepared. 
Church Structures
We assist churches with materials to build a basic roof structure that can accommodate 90 people. This helps the church to be able to meet even through the wet season. We have a strict criterion for this assistance including stable leadership and faithful attendance by core members. |
Leadership Development
Our strategy is to develop local leaders and facilitate better functioning of leader teams within our churches. We provide specific input and insight into the church's challenges and assist in helping them see vision for their individual community and church needs. We host 3 day leader conferences teaching in the areas of personal growth, theology lessons, and leadership skills. 
Marriage Conference
We host marriage conferences which focus on training couples on the biblical importance of marriage and how culture needs to yield to the Word of God in the area of marriage. |
Booklet
We developed a booklet to assist our leaders to do effective bible studies. In areas where we lack leaders or where most people are illeterate, we try to model good Bible studies rather than give theological lessons so we can develop a hunger for God's Word. 
Choir Quest
We host a choir competition where all churches have the option to enter a senior and/or junior choir to compete for a prize. They prepare an item which is then recorded and made available to the judges who select a winner in both categories. Choir Quest sparks energy and enthusiasm in our church choirs. |
